Salmon / Brown Trout / Sea Trout / Grayling & other coarse species

Mid-Clyde Angling Association

Runs from Bothwell Bridge in Lanarkshire down to Dalmarnock Bridge in Glasgow.

This is the 1st part of the river where anglers will ‘hook-into’ into an Atlantic Salmon travelling upstream towards UCAPA controlled water and then onto their spawning grounds.

The 1st reported catches usually come in around March - April but anglers have the opportunity to fish for the other species that swim in these waters, Brown Trout, Grayling, Pike & other coarse species.
