Lamington control some of the best fly fishing that our river has to offer.

Fishing is by permit only and can be purchased locally from many outlets, for the day or for the full

Season at a very very reasonable cost.

Spiders are the most common type of fly used on this pristine part of our river, usually with a team of 3-4 flies at a time, some anglers use less, some more.

There is NO Sunday fishing on Lamington, No bait fishing (for Brown Trout, bait permitted for Grayling on Lamington water.) and no spinning,

(Bait & spinning only allowed on the ‘Barrys Quarry’ area of Lamington’!

Visit the official Lamington website for full details.
