New Clyde Forum Fly Tying and Lure Building Club !!

New Clyde Forum Fly Tying and Lure Building Club !!
River Clyde Fishing is proud to announce a new Fly Tying and Lure Building Club which will be launched in the coming months.
The club is open to all members and we hope to attract along some experienced tyers who will pass on their handy tips and advice. Initial interest in this is brisk and we have wasted no time in securing a very comfortable venue, with food and drinks available, in the south side of Glasgow, the function suite at The Montford House, Nr Hampden, which we hope will be central and easily accessible to our members.
Many of the forum members fish both fly and lure and we aim to make this club open
to both fly tyers and lure makers. Come along and learn to tie your own trout and
salmon flies, or learn to make your own Flying C's. Are you an old hand at lure making
or fly tying? Why not support this venture and come along and pass on some of your
skills to other, eager to learn anglers.
We are currently negotiating with a sponsor
to supply the club with some fly tying materials to get us up and running but any
forum members wishing to contribute bits and bobs for a truly worthy venture then
